About Me

Student researcher at Wayzata High School passionate about environmental sustainability and software-driven solutions

My Journey

Hi, I'm Aman Goud, a student at Wayzata High School with a deep passion for environmental research and leveraging technology to address pressing ecological challenges. My work focuses on understanding the impact of plastic pollution on Minnesota's ecosystems and developing software-driven solutions for environmental monitoring and remediation.

I recently published research in the Journal of Global Research (Vol. 11, Issue 2, 2025) exploring how plastic waste affects Minnesota's soil health, crop productivity, and public health. My research proposes innovative data-driven frameworks using satellite imaging and machine learning to detect and localize pollution for faster remediation.

Beyond research, I'm actively engaged in leadership roles and community service. As Vice President of Business Professionals of America, I've competed at regional, state, and national levels. I also serve on the Youth Council for the Minnesota Department of Health, working on youth tobacco prevention initiatives. Through these experiences, I strive to make a positive impact on both my local community and the broader environmental landscape.
